In the early 1900 's Cornelis Westerbeek founded the Westerbeek Bulb Company in Voorhout, The Netherlands.
He was bulb producer and exporter to the USA and Germany. More than 100 years, three generations later, Westerbeek Bulb Company is still going strong. And is one of the major flower bulb exporter to the North American Market.

We consult our growers/forcers regularly during the planting season and of course during the forcing season from January through May.

Testing new and existing varieties
Westerbeek is proud sponsor of the Flower Bulb Research Program at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. The research is done by Dr. Bill Miller.
Free information is available about PGR’s, cooling weeks and other treatments, disease- and pest control, etc.
Transport facilities

Westerbeek Bulb Company is able to ship all over the United States and Canada. Any time at any temperature.
Direct container shipments to our customers or smaller shipments through our distribution centres on the East coast, Midwest and Northwest.
Westerbeek ships the majority of the bulbs in collapsable trays. Savings for you and for the environment, made us decide to invest in these folding trays.
Westerbeek is owner of the trays and will arrange the freight of the empty trays from your nursery to Holland.
